WHAT IS NORDIC WALKING? Nordic walking (NW) is enhanced walking where arms are also used to push - the push from the touching the ground. Nordic walking has developed from skiing training methods and is a great activity with elements of sport/athletic features, that fits everyone - regardless the age, gender or level of physical preparation. Few activities involve different muscle groups fully the way nordic walking does. Upper and lower body muscles are equally trained.
